Applications for the Worldwide Universities Network Research Mobility Programme 2017-18 are now open.

The Research Mobility Programme (RMP) is an opportunity for staff or postgraduate researchers in any academic discipline to bid for funding to visit any Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) international partner. The visit can be anything from a week to 6 months duration.

The aim of the RMP is to support the development of international networks and long- term research links with WUN partners, exchange expertise and share access to specialised facilities. Funds for the RMP come directly from the Global Engagement office budget. All WUN members waive any fees associated with the RMP, which are typically short visits.

Awards are worth up to a maximum of £2,500 and cover economy air travel, visa, accommodation, and subsistence costs.

Applicants should read the guide to applying for an RMP award before completing the application form: WUN Research Mobility Programme Guide 2017 (PDF  , 473kb)

The completed application must include a 1000-word outline of research and benefits, details of costs, and letters of support from your home supervisor and host supervisor (for students) or academic collaborator (for staff) as well as from your Head of Department (staff).

The deadline for applications is 5pm Friday 30th June 2017.
