York ESRC IAA: General Call & Fellowship/Secondment Scheme

Posted on 31 August 2017

Call now open. Apply for funding by 5pm, Tuesday 21 November 2017

The York ESRC IAA is open to any independent researcher who undertakes social science research at the University of York. It has been designed to assist in the building and strengthening of links with non-academic partners, enhancing and accelerating the impact of current or previously conducted research. Note: the IAA supports knowledge exchange activities, not original research.

The deadline for this call is 5pm on Tuesday 21 November 2017 and it is anticipated that applicants will be informed of outcomes by Tuesday 12 December 2017.

Once again, we are soliciting applications to all of our schemes within the same call.

  • The General Call for funding supports impact-related projects and initiatives across the social sciences.
  • The Fellowship & Secondment Scheme facilitates bi-directional placement activities, between external organisations and the University of York.
  • The Responsive Mode supports small-scale projects or interventions (up to the value of £1,500). Note: this scheme accepts applications at any time

High quality applications are welcome in all areas, we particularly welcome projects that demonstrate a strategic fit with departmental impact priorities.

More information is available on the Research Centre for the Social Sciences York ESRC IAA pages.
