I applied for about 30 internships. I got interviewed for 2 and offered 2.

Look online, speak to careers advisors, speak to people a few years above you who are already working - it might be that there are lesser-advertised roles at their firms

The recruitment process

I applied very early in my 2nd year for a placement at the end of 2nd year during the holidays.

The interview process consisted of 4 stages - an online maths and English test, an Initial interview, and assessment centre day and a final partner interview.
