Briefly describe the organisation you work for
I work for Telent, within the Infrastructure Services business unit. We carry out telecommunications work, connecting fibre to premises.
What do you do?
I am the Environment and Sustainability Advisor for the Infrastructure Service business unit.
Reflecting upon your past employment and education, what led you to your current career choice?
My degree in Environmental Geography and dissertation which investigate corporate social responsibility led me to this career path.
Is your current job sector different from what you thought you would enter when you graduated?
The job is what I wanted to do however the business sector is new to me as I had no prior experience working with telecomms.
Describe your most memorable day at work
I enjoy everyday.
What extracurricular activities did you undertake at university and what transferable skills did you develop through these?
At university, I gained lots of extra circular sustainability experience
