Make sure you pick a role that you enjoy. Think about what it is that makes you happy and look for roles that deliver that.

I help my company create the right environment and culture that encourages employees to do the right thing.

Influencing skills are a key part of my role and were developed with a combination of some training courses and experience in business.
Understanding business risk and how to build processes to mitigate them.
What I like most
Making a difference such that employees feel able to speak freely about concerns and work towards good solutions.
What I like least
People that think problems are black and white such that if you write a rule it will be fixed.
