The new branding is a vehicle for SEI to communicate its unique offering and impact to new and existing audiences, to forge networks and drive debate, and promote robust solutions for sustainability.
SEI Communications Director Robert Watt described the new look as “an engaging and forward-looking design, which shows us as a trusted and relevant source in a noisy sector. It is a visual representation of SEI’s mission and values: to help create a sustainable future for all by connecting science with decision-makers, and to do so in a way that is open, collaborative and rigorous.”
The website has been redeveloped from the ground up, and restructured for an improved user experience. The domain has also moved from sei-international.org to the more prominent sei.org, reflecting SEI’s position at the heart of the global movement towards sustainability.
Stockholm Environment Institute is an international non-profit research organization that tackles environment and development challenges from local to global levels. We provide knowledge that connects science with policy to support decision-making and to make policy and practice more sustainable.
SEI has eight centres around the world in Sweden, the UK, the U.S., Thailand, Kenya, Estonia and Colombia. The York centre is located in the University of York's Environment Department.
