SEI engages local communities to find out more about the sites.

Communities in Barnsley and Doncaster have been invited to events to find out more about the project which aims to return wildlife to former colliery sites.

SEI researchers are hoping for local residents to tell them more about the history of the sites, take a closer look at the wildlife on them and to investigate the linkages between the two.

The third and final event takes place at the former Cadeby Colliery, Conisbrough on Thursday 14th August (4pm-8pm). The event is free for all the family.
