Between 2002-5, SATSU was funded by the European Commission's Marie Curie Programme as a training site for doctoral students from across Europe. The Marie Curie Fellows joined us for between 3 and 9 months. Such was the success of the programme the idea of continuing our collaboration beyond the formal end of the EC contract that the network was successful in securing a COST Action grant from the Commission which deepens and extends the work being pursued.
The new network is called Bio-objects: Governing Matters at the Intersection of the Society, Politics and Science.
