Environmental Information Regulations (EIR)

Find out more

The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 provide an access regime for information on the local environment or environmental factors held by public authorities such as the University.

The Regulations came into force, with the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA), in January 2005 and are closely related to the FoI legislation. They replace the Environmental Information Regulations 1992.

Further information on the Regulations is provided through the following pages. The campus development website carries more information on campus and sustainable development at the University.
