New paper accepted in journal SLEEP

Posted on 27 June 2017

A new paper from the SLAM lab entitled "Mechanisms of Memory Retrieval in Slow-Wave Sleep" has been accepted for publication in the journal SLEEP

In this study, Cairney, Sobczak, Lindsay & Gaskell use targeted memory reactivation (TMR) to investigate the mechanisms by which verbal and non-verbal declarative memories are retrieved in the sleeping brain. The results show that there are multiple routes to memory retrieval in sleep, which depend on the nature of the TMR cue and its overlap with the reactivated memory trace.
