The Department of Psychology also contributes to the interdisciplinary BSc Neuroscience and MSci Neuroscience courses offered by the School of Natural Sciences. These courses span the full range of neuroscience including its molecular and cellular mechanisms (Biology and Chemistry) and philosophical aspects of the subject (Philosophy). They are suitable for students with excellent qualifications in Maths and Chemistry. Final year students typically undertake hands-on projects in human neuroscience (based at the York Neuroimaging Centre - YNiC) or molecular, cellular or systems neuroscience (often based in the Biology Department or at the Center for Hyperpolarization in Magnetic Resonance - CHyM).
