York Psychology Graduate Scoops National Science Writing Prize

Cassie Barton, who graduated from the Department in 2011, has won the Wellcome Trust Science Writing Prize 2012.

Cassie’s article on the integration of information from different senses, such as sound and smell, was published in the Guardian.

Since leaving York, Cassie has gone on to work with the disability charity Scope.
