Looking at the Man in the Mirror: A Whistleblower's Experience

Ian Foxley (Former Lieutenant Colonel, British Army) was the
Programme Director within a UK subsidiary of Airbus Defence and
Space Group, Europe’s largest defence manufacturer. He blew the
whistle after discovering secret payments within a £1.96 billion
contract to modernise communications for the Saudi Arabian National
Guard to ‘additional’ sub-contractors in the Cayman Islands. Ian is
now researching a PhD, based on this case study, on the topic of why
people do not blow the whistle when they could do so.
Ian will relate the story of the experience, its impact and the political,
philosophical, economic and legal implications which are still
unfolding today.
