Following from the successful launch event 'Tax after coronavirus' in July, the Fabian Economy and Finance Group are running a follow-up event dedicated to one of the hottest contemporary topics in economic policy, a basic income.

Panellists include:

Lord Andrew Adonis: Former Head of Policy under Tony Blair and Transport Secretary under Gordon Brown

Dr Louise Haagh: Professor of Politics at York University and author of 'The Case for Universal Basic Income'.

Alfie Stirling: Director of Research and Chief Economist, New Economics Foundation. Co-author of 'Nothing Personal: Replacing the personal allowance with a weekly national allowance'

Stewart Lansley: Visiting Fellow, University of Bristol. and co-author of 'A Basic Income for All, From Desirability to Feasibility'

The event starts at 6.30, finishing at 8pm.

Following brief presentations by the panellists, there will be a Q&A followed by a panel discussion.
