MA in Philosophy Publicity Event

Our final year undergraduates have been invited to an MA in Philosophy publicity event on Thursday 24th April starting at 12.30pm and finishing at 2.30pm. The event will be held in SBA/009 and there will be talks on various themes including finance.

If you are aware of any students who are thinking of applying for an MA with us please advise them to come along to the event. If they aren't free on that day please suggest that they get in touch with Steve Holland or Carol Dixon.

On the day we will be flagging up the awards available for 2014/15, namely:

• One AHRC/WRoCAH scholarship comprising a fee waiver at the home/EU rate (deadline midnight 9th May)
• One AHRC/WRoCAH scholarship comprising fee waiver at the home/EU rate plus a stipend of approximately £10,000 (deadline midnight 9th May).

Both scholarships are aimed at students planning to go on to a PhD afterwards.

• Five Philosophy Department bursaries comprising a fee reduction of £1,200.
