‎Undergraduate study

The School of PEP offers four distinct undergraduate programmes. Each of these programmes includes a particular combination of study, involving Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. The programmes are Economics & Philosphy, Economics & Politics, Philosophy & Politics, and PPE. The PPE is the only one of the four programmes to include all three subjects. Within the PPE programme, there are two specific pathways, one specialises in econometrics, the other is more interdisciplinary in character. For students interested in the econometrics pathway, please check out the admissions criteria concerning maths requirements.

For detailed course descriptors, see the blue menu to the left.

Career development and alumni profiles

‌I felt like part of something from the very beginning. I don't know any other course that offers such a sense of community. I really have made friends for life and had great fun doing it!

Rosie, PPE

For me the variety that PPE offers is amazing, and you get to tailor your degree to your own strengths and interests far more than you could in a single discipline

Cameron, PPE

The breadth of module choices offered within the School is second to none. The programme offers so much flexibility, and allows me to focus on my own areas of interest

Helen, Philosophy and Politics

I enjoyed contributing to the Club of PEP, a student-run organisation whose role in developing a unique sense of friendship and community is difficult to overemphasize
