The study fees for the Spring term 2019 will be £5034.00.
If a student is given a place on one of the 30 study point MA courses in York, the State Education Office, Lånekassen, will provide a loan/stipend. For details please visit their website or telephone from Norway 04545, or from abroad 00-47-22724545 (between 0800 and 1500).
On applying to Lånekassen, the student must attach confirmation from the NSC of this amount in pounds, as well as a statement from the student’s home institution that the course will be accepted as part of their Master’s degree course. The student should also attach the official letter from the Graduate Schools Office at the University of York, offering a place on the course.
Living costs are approximately the same (or cheaper) than those in Norway. For sample budgets have a look at the university's guides to budgets.
