Graham Swift is the author of ten novels, two collections of short stories and Making an Elephant, a collection of non-fiction reflecting his life in writing. With Waterland he won the Guardian Fiction Prize and with Last Orders the Booker Prize.
His much-praised new novel, Mothering Sunday, A Romance, begins with a secret lovers’ assignation in the spring of 1924 then unfolds to reveal the whole of a remarkable life. “Alive with sensuousness and sensuality…wonderfully accomplished” (Sunday Times). “Blazes irresistibly…a masterpiece” (Guardian)
