  • Ray Tallis, past Professor of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Manchester, Patron of Dignity in Dying and Chair of Health Professionals for Assisted Dying
  • Kevin Yuill, senior lecturer at Univerity of Sunderland, author of Assisted Suicide: The liberal, humanist case against legalization
  • Leslie Close, co-editor (with Jo Cartwright) of Assisted Dying: Who makes the final decision?
  • Celia Kitzinger (Sociology Dept, University of York) will chair the event
