In the run up to Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2016 and to reflect Goodricke Respect Week, a public lecture on Understanding Eating Disorders will be held in the Goodricke General Common Room (The Clarbour Room) on Wednesday 3 February.

This workshop aims to provide information to those who support students, friends or family members with eating disorders, or anyone who is interested in learning more about these conditions.

The workshop will be hosted by Matt Matravers, Head of College. Speakers include a past Goodricke student on how suffering from anorexia affected her time at the university and Dr Andrea Brown, a Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in eating disorders at The Retreat.
