Ibtihel Abdellatif, Chair of the Women's Committee within the Truth and Dignity Commission, Tunisia, will give a talk on Gender and Transitional Justice

The talk is co-hosted by the Centre for Applied Human Rights (CAHR) and the Security, Conflict and Peace network. 

CAHR has been working with Ibtihel and the Women's Committee for three years on a project to document women's experiences and responses to sexual violence. The talk represents a unique opportunity to hear more about Tunisia's role in the Arab Spring, the complexities of delivering transitional justice, and sensitivities associated with work on sexual violence.
