SCI has, to date, helped distribute over 140 million treatments against schistosomiasis, a parasitic disease which leads to chronic ill health but can be treated for just 50 pence a year. It is also recommended by GiveWell as one of their top recommended charities, due to SCI's outstanding effectiveness and demonstrated impact.

Join us for what's sure to be a fascinating talk by an expert in his field, after a career spanning 5 decades. We'll hear about the progress being made towards eliminating neglected tropical diseases and what makes SCI such an effective charity. Snacks will be provided!
