This open afternoon will consist of a presentation by the Within the Walls team and an opportunity to playfully explore definitions of heritage value. This will include hands-on interactions with the historic buildings of York and digital media.

Within the Walls: Heritage, Public History and the Historic City explores the relationship between the community, their values and their heritage.

These events are part of ‘Being Human’, the UK's first national festival of the humanities, led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
