Science Week lectures

The University of York has one of the UK's leading Chemistry departments. Established in 1964, the department has grown from strength to strength over the last 50 years in both teaching and international research. Some of the hot topics in current research will be presented by top researchers from the department. Topics will include "Air pollution in the 21st Century", "Liquid Crystals- Nature's Delicate and Prosperous State of Matter", as well as using chemistry to solve the mysteries of Stonehenge! Refreshments will be provided.
