Natural Sciences hour

A key part of the experience of being a Natural Scientist at York will be the weekly Natural Sciences hour, which will take place in our Learning Studio.

This is currently scheduled for 5pm on Thursdays, will bring together Natural Sciences students from all the various pathways to:

  • engage with employers
  • develop transferable skills
  • be inspired by leaders in interdisciplinary research

These sessions will also have a "course briefing" component so that academics from contributing departments can brief Natural Scientists about things going on in their departments,  for example to discuss choosing optional modules.
