'Twenty': new piano music from lockdown

Posted on 6 August 2020

Twenty is a new collection of piano pieces by some of the most promising musical voices working today.

Twenty was set up by current York PhD composer Robin Haigh in April 2020 as a means of both providing locked-down pianists around the world with innovative new music, and finding a new way to promote the work of composers in an uncertain time.

The collection consists of twenty pieces for players of all abilities, both as a free online collection of PDFs, and now as a charity album recorded by pianists from their homes around the world. The collection includes the piece "EEL" by York alumnus Patrick John Jones.
