Ensemble-in-association Quatour Diotima have been working with undergraduate and postgraduate students as part of their residency in the Department. Over the course of a three-day visit last week the Paris-based quartet gave a concert in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall performing works by Szymanowski, Ravel and Schubert. They also worked with ten undergraduate and postgraduate composers on new works specially written for them, and coached student string quartets.
