Posted on 8 January 2015

Work from the Department of Music (Professor Ambrose Field) together with submissions from Electronics, and Department of Theatre Film and Television played a part in the international cultural designation made to the City of York.

The UNESCO designation secures the city's reputation as a leading destination for creative and digital businesses, with state-of-the-art facilities based at the University of York, including the £20 million Ron Cooke Hub for creative enterprise and the new £30 million Heslington Studios.
