Des Clarke selected as RSNO Composers’ Hub participant

York PhD student, Desmond Clarke, has been selected as one of five emerging UK composers to benefit from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s first RSNO Composers’ Hub, a new initiative to develop the talents of individuals in the early stages of their careers.

Composers’ hub participants will be presented with the opportunity to write for the orchestra in a range of different contexts, develop skills and creative relationships, as well as acquire an understanding of the business of a major arts organisation.
