I received my BSc in Mathematics and Physics from Durham University in 2017, before sitting Part III of the Mathematical Tripos at the University of Cambridge in 2017/18. I then completed a PhD in Mathematics at the University of York under the supervision of Dr Kasia Rejzner and Dr Benoit Vicedo.
My research is primarily focused on using the axiomatic framework of Perturbative Algebraic Quantum Field Theory (pAQFT) to derive some well-known results from the study of 2D Conformal Field Theories (CFTs). Currently we are working towards obtaining the axioms for Vertex Operator Algebras (VOAs) from those of pAQFT. VOAs provide a very powerful language for describing both general and specific features of CFTs, thus it would be very interesting to see how they arise from the much broader framework of pAQFT.
More generally I am interested in quantum and classical field theories, applications of differential geometry in theoretical physics and the foundations and interpretations of quantum theories.
