My main research area is the Theory of Stochastic Partial Differential Equations (SPDEs) and its applications. Currently, I am working on the project SELEs which aim to rigorously investigate the effect of noise on the dynamics of nematic liquid crystals. This is a joint project with Prof Zdzsilaw Brzezniak and the questions we are interested in are the well-posedness of the Ericksen-Leslie systems under external random perturbation and noise induced Fréedericksz transition in nematic liquid crystals and related equations.
