Profile

Biography

I did my BSc and MSc in Physics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 2014 I was awarded a fully funded research scholarship at the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy.

Now I am doing my PhD at York under the supervision of Prof. Chris Fewster with the support of a CONACyT fellowship. My research is about Hadamard States of Quantum Fields in Curved Spacetime, in particular, I am investigating if they can be extended from a region in spacetime to a larger region so that the extended state is Hadamard and matches the original state in a confined region within the original one.

Besides that, I am the Treasurer of the Society of Mexican Students in the United Kingdom (https://mexsoc.org.uk/), and I collaborate in a blog where I write about mathematics in a rather informal fashion  (https://nonsequitur.blog/).
