Yoo Jung Ha is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in International Business at the York Management School, University of York. She holds a PhD from Alliance Manchester Business School and an MPhil in International Development from University of Oxford. Yoo Jung previously worked for the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, for the Government of South Korea, and International Labor Organization. Her research focuses on the activities of Multinational Enterprises in host economies, innovation and technology spillovers and business and management in East Asia. Her work has been published in journals such as International Business Review, Asian Business and Management and Multinational Business Review and she co-edited a book on The Rise of Multinationals from Emerging Economies. Her latest research focuses on performance of MNE subsidiaries, innovation collaboration in the automotive sector, environmental innovation diffusion and FDI spillovers and MNE centres of excellence in Japan. She received British Academy-Leverhulme Research Grant in 2016-2017 and Palgrave Macmillan Best Paper Award at the AIB-UK & Ireland Conference in 2018.

Her current research interests are the impact of technology spillovers from activities of multinational enterprises (MNEs) and innovation strategies of MNE subsidiaries.
