Biography

Before joining York in 2019, Matthew taught at the University of Herfordshire, The Open University, The University of Birmingham, and Northumbria University.

Research

Overview

Matthew's research focuses on normative ethical theory as it applies to business and organisations. He is particularly interested in virtue ethics, and in the concepts of flourishing and alienation as they apply to work.
