Jess Wardman joined TYMS fulltime in 2013, having previously taught in the department for a year. Prior to that, she did sessional lecturing for the University of York and University of Hull Maths departments, in Number Theory & Cryptography to Differential Equations & Fourier Series.
She has a PhD in Biology, looking into virus architecture through the lens of symmetry, an MPhil in Maths which looked at surface reconstruction, and a MMath from Durham University, specialising in Differential Geometry.
She is interested in all things geometrical and data-driven, which covers more than you might think it does.
