I studied my undergraduate degree at the FOM – University of Applied Sciences in Germany, while simultaneously gaining practical experience as a management trainee at RWE, a major energy company in Germany. After finishing the degree and another year as a process manager I continued my studies at the University of York being awarded a scholarship by the “German Academic Exchange Agency”. I graduated with distinction from the MSc International Business and Strategic Management at the University of York as the ‘Highest achieving student’ of my cohort.

Afterwards I worked in process and project management roles at one of Germany’s TOP30 companies. I have been involved in different optimization and business development initiatives with subsidiaries all over the world. After three years in the industry I returned to York Management School to pursue my PhD in Management.
