Management School academics contribute to report commissioned by Morrisons
Professor Bob Doherty, Dr Fernando Fastoso and Dr Hector Gonzalez Jimenez from The York Managment School (TYMS) were among the contributors to a new report, 'British Food: What role should UK producers have in feeding the UK?' comissioned by the Morrisons supermarket chain. Morrisons aims to increase the number of its British suppliers after the report revealed that only 52 per cent of our food comes from local sources and only 23 per cent of the fruit and vegetables we eat are grown in the UK.
