Top marks for Management School undergraduates
York Management School Students reach the Top 10 again in the Undergraduate of the Year Awards
The York Management School have 3 students through to the top 10 of Target Jobs Undergraduate of the Year Awards for 2016 and will be attending the Awards Ceremony this Friday 22nd April at Canary Wharf, London which will be hosted by Fiona Bruce.
Two very promising first years, Bronte Wright (BSc (Hons) Accounting, Business Finance and Management) and Conor Virdee (BA (Hons) Business and Management) have both reached the top 10 for Enterprise Rent a Car’s Management Undergraduate of the Year Award.
Lewis McDowell, a second year BA (Hons) Management student, has made the top 10 for L’Oréal’s Male Undergraduate of the Year Award. Lewis will also be joining L’Oréal this summer for an industrial placement year with the company.
The School is extremely proud to have finalists in this extremely competitive and prestigious competition for the second year running. These students have competed with the best students nationally to reach the top 10, submitting applications, completing online tests, interviews and assessment centre. We are looking forward to supporting them at the Awards ceremony with Nicola Clemmit, Placement Coordinator, attending on behalf of the School.
We look forward to seeing how these high calibre students fair and hearing about the opportunities they will surely receive by reaching this stage which will support their already bright future careers.
