Achieving a New Balance: International Conference
The York Management School to host Academy of International Business (UK & Ireland Chapter) Conference, 10-12 April 2014
In April, The York Management School will play host to the 41st Academy of International Business (UK & Ireland Chapter) Conference. The theme of the event is ‘Achieving a New Balance? The Rise of Multinationals from Emerging Economies and the Prospects for Established Multinationals’, which will explore our understanding of the changing international landscape, and its implications for the world economy in general and emerging economy multinational, established multinationals, national governments and multilateral organisations, in particular.
Key Note Speakers for the event are Professor Peter Buckley Professor of International Business, University of Leeds (CIBUL), and Professor Jean-François Hennart, Professor of International Management at Tilburg University, The Netherlands. The Conference reception will take place on the 10th of April at Ron Cooke Hub, the venue for the gala dinner on the 11th April is National Railway Museum, York, at which entertainment will be supplied by the Mirage String Quartet.
