Prize Giving for Top Masters Students

Four Masters Students attended the awards ceremony at The York Management School on Monday 12th March to receive their £300 prize for gaining a distinction and the honour of being the top student on their programme.


At a prize giving ceremony in the Management School on Monday 12th March 2012 the following prizes were awarded to last year's masters students.

  • Best overall mark on all programmes:   David Angrave
  • Best MSc Accounting and Financial Management student  Christina Cassar
  • Best MSc Corporate Social Responsibility with Environmental Management student Cherene Marshall
  • Best MA Human Resource Management student Emma Wells
  • Best MSc International Business and Strategic Management student Simon Milewski
  • Best MA Management student Katerina Davidson
  • Best MSc Management with Business Finance student Oliver Phillips

These seven students were awarded distinctions and achieved the best aggregate mark across all their modules and dissertation.  Emma, Oliver, Cherene and David were able to attend the ceremony on 12th March and receive their award from Steve Toms, Head of the Management School.  The picture shows Cherene Marshall receiving her award from Steve Toms.
