Current Topics in Biology: Public Health Decisions at Scale

Saturday 27 June 2020, 1.30PM to 4.30pm

Should vaccines be mandatory? Why don’t we screen young people for cancer? Decisions about health interventions at scale often depend on getting a balance between benefit and harm and it is essential that we approach questions about which course of action to take using the best possible evidence. This course will aim to give students some pointers on how to assess the evidence both for and against an argument related to public health decisions. No prior knowledge is required.
