There are an increasing number of situations in art that require a contribution by an audience in order that they can be experienced. Is this beginning to affect the way we look at all art today? Might it even change the way we consider the art of the past? Over the course of eight weeks we will explore where some of these participatory expectations came from, and investigate what that might mean for the art of the future.
