For many non-Muslims who try to read the Qur’an, much - if not all - of the text can seem obscure. However, one verse in particular (Q.3:7) explicitly states that the book contains some parts whose meaning is clear-cut while others are ambiguous, intelligible to only a very few. This course delves into a few of these allegorical passages, uncovering some of the mysteries that even the wisest do not fully understand. Opportunities will arise for participants to explore passages that puzzle them.
