We’ve switched off book recalls so you won't get any emails asking to your return books. With the lockdown continuing, the last thing you need is to be worried about how to get an item back to us.
However this does mean it’s more likely that all the copies of a book you need will be out on loan, and you can’t recall them.
In this situation we want you to tell us what you need using our purchase request form - even if it’s a book we already own.
We’ll then try to find an ebook; if we can’t, we’ll buy a print copy and send it out via our Postal Loans service.
To keep everyone safe, we've tightened up the rules on face coverings in the Library. You must keep yours on at all times (unless you are exempt from wearing one).
This means that you can't eat meals in the Library, so there is now an area to eat your lunch in Vanbrugh. This is open on weekdays between 11.30am and 2.30pm and is monitored by staff to allow you to eat your own food safely.
You can find more information on our Study spaces page.
As always if you have any questions please get in touch with us.
