Returning your Library books

We appreciate that many of you are anxious to know how you can return books to the Library, especially if you are soon leaving the University.

For the time being the Library buildings remain closed and you are not able to return your books to the Library. Please keep hold of your books until you hear otherwise and do not attempt to return them, either in person or in the post.

Any books you have on loan should automatically have been extended until the end of the summer term and are set to renew automatically.
We have removed the option to request books for now, so there is no need for you to return books urgently.
At the present time we will not charge fines for overdue books.

We are currently exploring a range of options for how we can safely open the buildings and accept returns, in line with government guidelines. We will share more information about this in the coming weeks.
