Your Library, Your Voice: Migration and Refugees

Posted on 15 October 2020

Explore Migration and Refugee issues with the latest reading list from Your Library, Your Voice.

We’re pleased to launch the latest in our series of reading lists around a range of diversity themes, which this time focuses on Migration and Refugees. Thank you to the University of York Migration Network for their help in creating this list of resources.

With the recent news that the University has been recognised as a University of Sanctuary, this is an ideal time for the Library to share resources around this important issue. Hopefully the selected items will help you to inform yourself about a timely topic, which is subject to frequent misconceptions and contentions.

This list is part of our growing initiative, Your Library, Your Voice, through which we aim to represent the diversity of voices at the University of York and within our wider community. We’d love to hear from you with your suggestions for new items to add to this list or other areas on which we could focus future themes. Please contact your Academic Liaison Librarian if you have any suggestions.
