As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, we recently launched our Your Library, Your Voice platform. In the coming months we will be uploading reading lists on a range of themes which seek to represent the diversity of voices at the University of York and in our wider community.
We’re pleased to announce that our next reading list focuses on LGBTQI+ matters. As Pride month draws to a close, we encourage you to explore some of the films, documentaries and novels which we have highlighted in the list. We will be adding to it extensively over the next few weeks with a wide range of LGBTQI+ resources, so be sure to check back regularly for some more inspiration for some summer reading.
We’d love to grow this reading list with your additional suggestions, as well as to add more lists based on ideas from our community. Please contact your Academic Liaison Librarian if you have any suggestions. Thank you for helping us to make the Library and Archives a more diverse and inclusive place for all.
