The winning idea will receive a prize of £1,000 and we will work with you to introduce it to the Library and Archives.
Have you ever had a great idea to improve the Library and Archives but not known what to do with it? We want to hear from you! This is your chance to work with us to shape our services and to improve the experience of fellow students.
Your ideas could be about the resources that we stock or the space or technology that we provide. We welcome any ideas, big or small - please think outside the box! We will consider anything but ideas must be feasible to implement and relevant to using the Library and Archives. Please refer to the full terms and conditions via the link below to understand more of what we are looking for.
You can submit your entry from Monday 25 November until midnight Sunday 26 January. Ideas will be shortlisted soon after that, and successful students will have the chance to develop and pitch their idea in front of a judging panel, likely in Week 8 or 9 of Spring Term.
If you are shortlisted, you will work with a mentor to help develop your pitching skills for the judging panel. This is a great opportunity to enhance your employability skills whilst at the same time influencing the student experience at York.
Over to you!
More information and entry details can be found on the LibInspo page.
