Please get in touch before the Library closes for Christmas if you have a problem or question.
We won't be able to respond to phone or email enquiries between Wednesday 25 December and Wednesday 1 January inclusive:
During the Christmas vacation, our flexible loans system will operate as follows:
Note that the flexible loans service applies to all loan items, with the exception of Key Texts.
All items are subject to recall throughout the vacation, but we don't use due dates between Tuesday 24 December and Thursday 2 January: items that would otherwise have become due within those dates will instead be due for return on Friday 3 January.
Our request system still operates throughout the Christmas vacation, but will be adjusted as follows:
If an item is recalled during the vacation, you don't have to visit us to return it. Post it back to us, and we'll use the date of posting as the return date.
The last delivery to King's Manor will be made on the morning of Monday 23 December and requests should be made by 4pm on Sunday 22 December. The delivery service will resume on Friday 3 January for any items requested between Monday 23 December and Thursday 2 January.

Using other university libraries
The SCONUL access scheme enables you to use the resources of other university libraries over the vacation, providing you have your University card. If you're an undergraduate, you can use the libraries for reference. If you're a postgraduate, you may also be able to borrow items:
