Annual book stock review

Posted on 1 January 2018

We are currently undertaking our annual book stock review, starting this year with the books on the first floor of the Morrell Library (Social Sciences). The aim of the review is to ensure that our collections continue to meet research and teaching needs across the University and that we are making best use of Library space.

Throughout the review period we will identify books to retain and potential books for disposal. To assist us with our decision making, we will be using a range of collection management tools to produce statistics on usage and to check our holdings against other RLUK libraries and within the White Rose consortium. We will also be using our expertise and knowledge of collections and departments to make informed decisions about next steps for the collections.

If you would like to see the Social Sciences titles that we are reviewing or provide feedback, please consult the lists on our website:

We welcome feedback from academic staff by Friday 13 April.
